This is the penultimate book on what it looks like to be the Church. The Church of Jesus Christ is a group of people who have been saved by Jesus, called to fulfill His mission together in community on earth. This book is a great help to anyone who yearns to lead His Church, but may be a bit reluctant to do so for fear of lacking the ability. Want genuine transformation? Want to see Jesus be the Star Player in your life and church? Please read this!

I wonder if you might be interested in my Bible Reading Notes, covering the whole of Scripture -

Hi Neil,
I 'm looking for someone to bounce thoughts off of. Would you mind discussing with me the whole Organic Church concept? If you're busy, no problem - I'll try to find someone else.
Thanks,
Phil
Sure, Phil...
How can I help? Are you in Idaho? What do you want to know?
I'm in Minnesota. A little about me: wife, 4 kids, homeschooled all of them. Laurie and I have, in the past, been involved in Cell Church, House Church, Family Church, Mega Church, Church Plant, Standard Neighborhood Church, etc. The cell/house/simple church always had the most potential, yet was the most frustrating.
So, have you / are you involved in Simple / Organic Church in the way N. Cole describes? Please fill me in on the details: how long you’ve been meeting; where you meet ( your house, at work, at a bar / coffeehouse?), etc., etc. Most importantly, how /where did you find the “black dirt” (using Cole’s imagery) where there is a hunger for the Lord?
Phil
Just to emphasize, House Churching was VERY frustrating. Perhaps partially because it always seemed to have so much potential, but also because of numerous startegic and practical issues.
Phil
Sorry about my spelling: "strategic"
